Theia Chatelle is an experienced conflict correspondent and is currently pursuing an M.A. in American Studies at Yale University.

She has written for Al Jazeera, The Nation, Haaretz, and Teen Vogue, among others. She is also a former Puffin Fellow at The Nation.

Theia’s work has taken her from Cuba to Ecuador, to as far as Israel-Palestine. She loves a good adventure, and in her free time, is a highly-accomplished mountaineer, having summited peaks as high as 21,000 feet.

She primarily reports from the Middle East and Latin America but is open to assignments in any country/region. Theia speaks Spanish, Arabic, and a little Hebrew in addition to English.
